German Wehrmacht Gas Mask Can Straps Brass Knob.

Used on both long and short straps. Brass was used until 1937-1938 on the long and short straps hooks, buckles and knobs. I have found brass knobs on 1942 dated cans, with steel buckle on long strap and aluminium hook on short strap, for example, but this is not the rule, just some missing brass knobs at the factory, found and used, I guess. Hard to find one spare, still has some dark green paint inside.
