German Wehrmacht M40 KIA Helmet ET Or EF 64 1942 No Decal Part I.

This is a rare bird. First about the missing decal, paint is the original paint, no refurbished or reissued paint. So, where is the decal? There are no even the smallest traces of it. It looks like this helmet left the factory without. The low serial number 1123 gives that if from ET, (Eisenhutten-Thale), factory it would be made in late 1941 and if from EF, (Emaillierwerke-Fulda), also date the helmet in 1941. Due to the serial number I would bet that it is a helmet from the ET factory. Liner ring and split pins are dated 1942. So, this is the first point that makes this helmet a rare helmet. Second point is the KIA, (Killing In Action), thing. Why I say it is a KIA, or severely injured helmet? Because the pitting and totally missing leather with traces of black and totally dried leather on rims. Look M42 helmet #51851 also. Only blood makes this kind of damage. It looks like the wound was from front to back as no damage inside the helmet on the sides. Look photos. And look photos of other helmets in my collection in Part II, sorry, NOT FOR SALE. You will see same pitting and damage to leather, rats love old leather, but if it contains blood... This is like the barbecue sauce for rats. Why so much effort on a 400 euro helmet? Because I love them and I like to teach people.... sometimes.

German Luftschutz M38 Gladiator Helmet In Nearly MINT Condition.

And unused I would say. This one has a smaller liner than the shell, which was normal with these helmets. It is 100% unmessed with, I guarantee. These helmets are more and more difficult to find every year in this condition. I remember years ago to find always 3 or 4 in every show, today if you find one in one show, you are a lucky man. Talking always about unused or near mint examples with complete decal, chinstrap, liner, etc.

Italian WWII Brixia Mortar Magazine, Really Hard To Find.

Very rare to find the original magazine used for the Italian Brixia mortar launcher. This launcher was used at the Spanish Civil War and, of course, the WWII by the Italian Army and the German Wehrmacht in Afrika. Very nice condition for this hard to find magazine. Select and open or copy and paste the link for see a nice original Italian video about.
