On Hold
I made it yesterday at home..... It could be true, (of course it is NOT), because it is in so PRISTINE condition, you cannot believe it until you see it in your hands. Typical late war quality, rough steel, poor paint and decal badly applied, (not missing a part, but folded over itself), but while late in the war was usual to find a 68 helmet shell with a 55 liner band, (for give to young people), because they had to use what they had available, this helmet is totally matching in sizes, and again, so new condition you cannot believe it. But of course it is. Shipping Costs: -Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Germany, Spain And Portugal: 15,50 €. -Rest Of Europe: 26,00 €. -Worldwide: 43,00 €.

Private purchase bag for transport the Volksgasmaske. How I know it? Because I collect this stuff for 20 years and I have bought a lot of them directly from the attics or basements. There exists a leaflet with a pattern for make yourself the bags, these leaflets are very hard to find, I have found maybe 3 or 4 in 20 years, they were included with the boxed masks, but not in all the boxes..... Maybe in 1% of the boxes. The set I offer here is in as found condition, mask and filter are mint and you can see the print of the filter inside the bag. Mask is marked K for Kinder, (Boy). Lenses in the mask are maker marked Auer 43 and the filter is made of Zink as made in 1943. And unused I would say. These helmets are more and more difficult to find every year in this condition. I remember years ago to find always 3 or 4 in every show, today if you can find one.... you are a lucky man. Always talking about unused or near mint examples with complete decal, chinstrap, liner, etc. By my experience I could say this example is a late war made one because the paint, the cardboard made chinstrap, (Ersatz Leather), and the materials used for the liner. A shoe lace was used for the adjustment of the liner. It is untouched as found. They started to make the VM, (Volksgasmaske), gas filters in aluminium, then changed to zink because all the aluminium was needed for make planes, and finally.... Cardboard!!!!!! A gas filter made from cardboard!!!!! Only Germans can do this. I have seen maybe three or four of them in 20 years and this filter comes with its untouched gas mask made in 1945.... A very hard to upgrade set I think. Mask is complete with all the straps and the cardboard filter got the shape you see in the photos due to have been storaged with the mask in place, then the gravity and 70 years made the rest. With the prices for Excellent or Mint Condition stuff going to Mars, (The Red Planet), I decided start to offer that stuff in used condition, but still with a lot of "glamour" and in good enough condition and of course more affordable for all kind of collectors, maybe you are a beginner or a reenactor who wants to add original items to his outfit or you need an used item for complete a nice display or a mannequin or whatever you need to do with.... And all this without having to spend a small fortune. Here you have a very, very nice half matching bayonet, it is maker marked on scabbard and bayo 44 asw, but the serial number is different, (This is "half matching" for me), all the set is super nice and the blade is not edged. What you see over all the edge is weapons oil. This bayo comes with a good REPRO of a very late war material mix frog.
